A load of new native trees have been added to the Reserve, mainly around the top section of the front 9.
The new trees have altered the look of a few fairways, in a good way.
Harvey and I dug in another two tee posts, hole#9 (long tee) and hole #10 (long tee).
All the front 9 holes now have tee posts on both long and short tee positions.
There are now just 4 more tee positions on the back 9 that require tee posts.
We also need to look at the design of hole #16.
Hole 1
Tough par 3 or easy par 4 – or move the basket?
Hole 5
New position for long tee needed. Either lengthen to make genuine par 4 or shorten slightly to make more dramatic par3. Possible that basket of 4 will need moving down the hill to accommodate new new position.
Hole 14
Par 4 or par 5.
Hole 15
Moving long tee further back toi make par5 has a good feel. Maybe tuck the basket in closer to bush?
Hole 16
The ace run is a good fit, but maybe tee and basket could be better positioned.
Hole 17
Par 3 or par 4?
